- Introduction
Often when network problems arise with a computer the first reaction of a user is to contact the PA Helpdesk. However, sometimes these problems are beyond our control (i.e. the entire campus losing its network connection). In cases like this, we are just as powerless to fix them and contacting us does little good. Because of this, it is often a good idea to perform a few simple tests yourself to determine the severity of the network difficulty before contacting us.
